Post-doctoral Fellow: Structural Biochemistry of Glycosaminoglycans
A Ph.D. level scientist is needed to develop and apply glycomics methods for determining of glycosaminoglycan structures and functions related to disease states. The scientist will join the Boston University Center for Biomedical Mass Spectrometry (BUCBM), a group of four faculty and 35 staff. There will be ample opportunities for synergistic interactions with members of the BUCBM. S/he will also join the Department of Biochemistry. S/he will participate in group and project meeting, conduct research, and present work at national scientific meetings. A two year commitment is expected.
Basic Qualifications
Ph.D. in mass spectrometry, analytical chemistry or biochemistry
